Hey Guys

I'm looking for a lake that I can take my inflatable boat on. Kind of want to find

a lake that doesn't have any or doesn't allow motor boats. I just want to sit

and fish without having to worry about traffic on the lake lol

Your best bet would be pothole lakes.i think most of them dont allow gas motors.Try lamont trout pond.

Wheres a good place to look up some of these lakes?
Is there a website or a map that shows just lakes?

Just as a point of info - Muir does not ban gas motors - just no one uses them there.

I go there regularly for the same reason you do.

Cheers

Next time you go there, read the sign again...

east pit would be a good one for you, not only will there be no motor boats, but even small electrics wont be there, because its a little hike from the parking lot, and theres no launch.

good fishing too.

This past winter we were ice fishing east pit, my brother had the auger, i had everything else on the sled, I had the bright idea of sledding down to the lake instead of slowly going down......Started out good, but forgot bout the "jump" after the bench halfway down, flipped over, everything everywhere. The sled kept going while I was digging through the snow for all my tackle. :(
