Yeah I heard about that too. I guess more females = More fish though right? God damn estrogen.

What i read in the paper this was the males were showing hermaphroditic mutations like eggs in the testicles. This may make them sterile. At least they only mentioned it affecting the long nosed dace in the old man river and elbow.

Xenoestrogens and phytoestrogens are an absolute plague: not only on the environment but on our (men's, women's and children's) health as well. Heck DDT is a xenoestrogen.

There is a lot of information online about these compounds, so I won't go into all of the horrifying details.
