can anyone tell me what lakes are good for inflateables with a troling motor on it in and around calgary that you can catch some good fish in?

Just about anywhere on a calm day. Don't be further from the shore then your willing to swim and don't be in a position where the wind will blow you away from the shore.

But if you get in a situation where you lost control and the wind is blowing you to the middle of the lake, drop anchor and wait it out. The Anchor line will angle and hold the boat so your bow is facing into the wind making it rather difficult to flip the boat. Just wait out the storm on someone to help you out.

Happened to me out on pine lake once...Went from calm to gale winds within 10 minutes. Made it back with all my fishing gear in the boat :sHa_shakeshout:

try dickson trout pond by innisfail or gap lake by canmore. Smaller bodies of water if the winds whips up.
