Just got back from my first time fishing the nsr. I'm down here for week and was real excited to pull some walleye and maybe a goldeye out of here. I fished right in the city in Dawson park. Not even a nibble unfortunately despite throwing my entire arsenal into the river. I did catch a nice sunglasses case full of mud and half a goldeye. Other half must have been chopped off by a prop. I may try tomorrow evening again. Anyone have any tips?

Thanks.

Stopped at the devon bridge today on my way to the airport and managed a decent walleye on my first cast. I was pretty happy even though it fought like a piece of driftwood. Got him on a blue fox spinner minnow type thing.

Glad to hear that the river didn't skunk you entirely!

If you're ever headed down this way again let me know a little ahead of time and I'll take you out and get you in to some fish
