My fishing weekend

I managed to head down South to get some fishing in. All in all it was a great weekend, I managed to get some grayling, cutts, rainbows, lost a HUGE bull at the lower K and then ended up at the Red Deer River where I caught this guy. It sure looks like a lake whitefish, but I wasn't sure if they are found in the river or not... does anyone know?

Could be a Lake WF. The only sure fire easily distinguishable way to tell the difference is by the "nasal flaps": 1 in Mountain WF and 2 in Lake WF. Next time you catch on have a look at it's nostrils and you will see what I mean.

Yes, I'd say lake whitefish. Great pics! Looks like you had a nice variety of species to wrangle....makes for a fun trip!
