Boat Launches on the North Saskatchewan River

Hello

I'll be spending about a month on the NSR in September, and am having problems locating boat launches between Rocky Mountain House and Devon, and between Fort Saskatchewan to the Saskatchewan/Alberta border. Boat launches need to be accessible for a jet boat or zodiac.

Duvernay has a boat launch, Two Hills County. But phone 2 Hills first and enquire, they were in the process of fixing it up, and took the concrete in the water out, and a few trailers were destroyed because they didn't sign the launch. check first.

Wiley West Campground just east of Drayton Valley on Hi-way #39 has a pretty good launch.

Also I have seen boats launched under the bridge on Hi-way #770 (Genesse Hi-way) approx. 25-30 kilometers North of Hi-way #39.
