We were using Black & White Spin & Glows about 6" Off the bottom. One morning i caught 2 b-4 i could even have a cup of coffee. That fish that my buddy caught weighed in at 63 lbs. Was a beauty,Lots of 30+,one that went 45 lbs as well and one i did a belly flop on..On the shore when he spit the hook that was close to 50lbs or mabey over.

Hey that's an awesome fish!!! how many pounds!!! you were on the island in the middle of the river!! Been there, caught a 35 pounder and my husband caught a 65 pounder!!! Wish we could be there again this year!! Think we we're there at the same time because my brother talked about guys from Alberta that come there every year and battle over spots on the island!!

Very nice! Those chinooks are huge. Nice scenary to be fishing in too. Thanks for the great report.

I have to thank you. I have had Skeena on the brain. Your pics are helping me to make the decision to go this year. I'll start my planning. P.S. The father in law is looking at a condo in Kitimat this year. Life could get very interesting....

Cheers!
