hey does anyone no a good place to shore fish at sturgeon lake??

You can cast off any of the docks and have a chancea some pike but the water is really low this year and the shore fishing is pretty poor I would find somewere else to go our find a boat, you don,t need to be far off shore in that lake to catch fish. We were there last night and caught lot of fish we were only 50 yards off shore. Even the boat launch is only a couple of feet deep.

What's the water look like out at Sturgeon? It's been a while since I have been out there and typically this time of year it is pretty green. Looking at heading out there next week. Thanks

surprisingly enough this year is the best that I have seen it at this time of year it only has a mild algae bloom and doesn't look like pea soup this year

alright thanks do you know of any good lakes to fish at near grande prarie or the beaverlodge area
