Turner Valley area.

Going to see family around Turner Valley and want to take the fly rod. Any idea on where to go. Was thinking the Sheep river. Fished it near town, but would like to go a little further west. Is the Sheep better out west? Any ideas would be great. Thanks everyone..

Sheep is so-so depending on the time of year. Hit the Highwood it pretty much holds fish anywhere there's a deep hole. I've landed a few nice bulls this year in the 2 times I've fished it.

Thanks for all the info everyone. Heading to the Highwood Sat morning. Sounds like the Highwood might hold more fish, and a little further west. Love mountain streams. I will try to post pics and stories if I can. Thank again.
