North Ghost Campground Fishing

Friends have booked a site there this weekend and the website says there is fishing in the area but no more. Can anyone articulate what type of fishing is available near that campground? We'd like to join them but would like to know what kind of gear to bring (lake, river, stream, etc.) It's on the trunk road so I assume streams but would like to know for sure.

Is that the one by the boat launch and the sail boat club? If so ghost lake is hard to gets results from but it has been done. I belive there is lake trout, Brooke trout and brown trout, white fish,burbot too.

No, the North Ghost Campground is actually 40km north of the 1A on the trunk road (HWY 40).
