Finally found a nice walleye hole. Only took 3 years of searching the nsr waters lol. i caught a nice 4lber at the start of the year and havent returned till this week because of guiding. Caught a 5lber thursday, but both days i only fished for about an hour, so i just needed to put the time in, went out this morning at 530am and landed 4 smaller ones and finally at 10am got this nice 30.8 inch hog:sHa_shakeshout:. personal best for alberta. yeah. but plan on improving it hopefully soon.

Woah, Talk about a pig! nice eye man! Also, let me say I feel honored to have one of the fishinggeeks himself on the alberta fishing forum. Ive seen tons of your videos on youtube, not to mention the record rainbow pulled out of deifenbaker. Someday, I hope I can catch fish like you can man! Wet lines!

Man nice eye, where did you land him? Within city limits or outside?
I hear Terwillegar park is outstanding for walleye shore fishing.

all i can say about where i caught this fish is between loyd and draton valley. lol. i know this isn't a complete monster eye, but its nice to see, took me 3 years of fishing here in alberta to find a good eye spot. took me 2 years to find the wab pike fishing spot where i landed my personal best 32lb monster and now its gone, bla. took me and my bro 5 years to find where those monster bows lerk, and so on. just gotta keep at it and you MUST try new and different things. ive been so frustrated here in alberta with fishing, but finally got a nice hole to fish.
Next year were not guiding, because of new families so i get to spend alot more time doing what i love best, yeah.
thanks everyone
see you on the water.

Everyone now feels like they have just congratulated the Saints on their 2010 super bowl victory...
HAHA, havent seen any real hogs this year yet,sad to say dont think we will for a while, this flood in the n.s.r just ruined all the pools, filled em with sand and dirt
