First, let me say that I am in no way trying to resurect a old thread (http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=64940&highlight=boaters+fishermen&page=2),.. :scared0018:
but I just saw this dock ( thru looking at another thread on here...........((Snipe Lake Walleye Hot Spots ..))..

and thought WOW that’s a cool dock for dock fisherman, while still having boat access. :sHa_shakeshout:

Hope this tread does not turn into an all out war between boaters and dock fishers :) :sign0176:

He is a generous and friendly gentleman. He is entertaining and funny. He is full of knowledge and tips. He is a truly wonderful soul.

He also has a physical disability: one that prevents him from fishing pretty much anywhere but the dock at PCR (which is the closest lake to him). His disability results in a very limited income, and having to replace something like a p-rig could indeed be a bit of a challenge at times. My MIL is in a similar situation, and we often buy her groceries. Many of you won't know this, unless you've pieced it together from his various posts, as he doesn't complain about it.

I probably shouldn't have spelled it out that way, but there you go. Hopefully it sheds a little light on this wonderful man.

If, when you're out a PCR, you see a red-haired gent sitting at the T of the dock, you might like to take the time to introduce yourself and get to know him. I suspect you will be pleased that you did.

I would be more than happy to meet any AO member on here and let them find out what kind of guy I am.:)):grouphugg:

All that is needed on that dock is a side table by each seat to hold tackel, your pop ( or any other of your favorite brevage :) ) :sHa_shakeshout:

Pepsi! Aww I will still talk to you anyways LOL I wish we had a pier like that maybe at Travers in the river, would make for some good fishing for the shorebound folks. I fished the fishing pier at Campbell River, that was great! Except for the pulp stink in the air and the sewage getting pumped into the water not far away, still a lot of fun. Washrooms, tackle shop and gear rentals right there on the pier.
