Athabasca River boat launch near Smith??

Looking for a boat launch near Smith, i've seen people parked N.E. of the bridge in Smith but haven't been anyone launch there for a couple of years.
Also any conditions or reports about the river would be awesome.

Hey Scotty. We fish there every year from mid sept to october lots of huge
28 to 30 inch walleye . Turn left just before bridge on south side top of
hill then quick right and follow trail down to river . good to launch smaller
boats with 4x4.
