im trying to plan a trip out to the kitimat area. middle of june -july. i plan on bringing my 17ft boat that has downriggers for for the douglas channel.want to find the springs and hali's if there not too far from town. also want to spend some days on the rivers. wondering how the skeena and kitimat are for this time of year. i heard the skeena can be pretty muddy in june but don't know much about the kitimat. was wondering if anyone can help me out. looking for some info on tackle, fishing spots,ect. as well.. also if there are some good lakes that i should be stopping at along the way that would be great as well. also looking for full hook up campgrounds since we will have a couple 5th wheels with wives and kids along. plan on being out there for at least a couple weeks so if there is anything cool to do other than fishing let me know. havn't spent any time up there other than driving through to the ferry to queen charlotte islands so any and all info will help out.
