Been hitting the Bow by the Carsland Wier for two mornings in a row & have been having a blast! Between the 2 days I have hooked 40 trout & landed 25; 10 of those were between 14-22" :happy0034: The biggest problem is you're fishing in about 3-4ft of water & there's lots of weeds around so the big boys feel the hook & jump 2 or 3 times then bury themselves in the weeds making it pretty hard to land them lol.
Saturday the BWO's were coming off pretty heavy mixed with Tricos, midges, & PMD's so it was a good dryfly day. This morning was COLD & wet which minimized the hatches but man were they ever hitting BWO wets & nymphs!!!
I only have a pic of the 22" brown cause I was by myself which makes the picture taking tough. Cell phone was wet too which made for poor pics.
