Heading to Duck Lake, MT this weekend on the Blackfeet Reserve near Babb, MT. This is my first trip and I am hoping to capture some insight from anglers who have been there before. Prepared to fly fish or spin... whatever will work. Web pages show some pretty big rainbows and the odd brown.

Lodging is lined up but I would sure appreciate some fishing insight!!

Good luck. My neighbour goes there a lot in early spring and says its awesome. He only fly fishes. Can't tell you anything else, but should be a good trip and good luck.

Good numbers of fish, but I wouldn't expect to catch many/or any over 20". All the "big fish" pictures are pretty old. Very rare to catch a brown.
Be careful of the wind. The waves can get big and cause some problems. Fly fishing works well.

Thanks for the heads up on the wind. Forecast looks OK but in that country it can change in a hurry.
