First Brook Trout

The face says it all. Boy caught his first Brookie. 15 1/2 inches.

i do not believe that is a brook trout. i could be wrong but i am about 98% sure that is a brown trout. I could be wrong.

Yeah, Thats definitly a brown. The red spots indicate its a german brown, whereas if there were no spots it would be a scottish brown. Nice fish dude!

Sorry guys, I never really thought about it. I stand corrected. That picture is a Brown. I have to look at other pics now. Now that sucks, because he has one up on me. I have yet to catch a brown. We did catch some Brook. The diff of course is the road map on back as I always said.
Thanks, now I have to break the news to him that he has caught a fish that I never have.
