Calgary Fishing Spots

I just moved to Calgary and i was wondering are there any really good fishing spots around Calgary and area?

First of all welcome to the forum. Yes there is lots of great fishing around Calgary. The Bow river has some great trout fishing, but it can be a difficult river to fish. Try under the graves bridge, the boat launch at Hwy 22x (use bow bottm trail to get there). Also Mcgreggor lake for pike or walleye, Pine Coulee Res. for walleye (catch and release only) and pike, chain lakes for put and take trout fishing

I also heard Spray lakes was good too? I haven't been up there, but would like to try it sometime. Anyone know much about the location and what the fishing is like?

thanks guys, so zabbo do u think i can cach trout on the chain lakes from shore, and same thing for mcregor lake, but what should i use for the pike and walleye there (Ice Fishing, and Spincasting in Summer) and what should i use for Chain Lakes on shore?
