After the lousy weather Sunday I spent the holiday Monday on Travers, courtesy of Dodger, and had a great time. The fishing was pretty slow, but we did manage a couple pike each and the sunshine felt great, with barely any wind.

Water looks VERY clear there for being the end of summer. Nice Shots.

Good job on the Pike boys! And what a bonus with the weather. You never know whats gonna happen on that lake some days.

I had my PFD on!! Problem is it's a permanent fixture under my shirt ;)

No fair! I haven't found any pike for a good couple weeks now!

Nice looking fish! were you trolling or just casting?

We were casting around the weeds, not many fish in shallow, maybe the rain sent them deeper again for a while.

It's official Wayne I think I found someone more pike crazy then me. Lol. If your ever in the Edmonton area let me know me you and Geezle will slay some big pike.

Sounds good to me, Ive passed up most of the season I could have been trying for my sturgeon to slay pike. And as soon as the ice is thick enough to walk on I will be looking down at them as well. I plan on getting at least one very large one this winter. But Im just as happy (almost) catching 50 smaller ones in one day too. :sHa_shakeshout: Nothing like seeing a fish with big teeth come rocketing out of the water and landing in your lap. Thats my adrenalin rush :bad_boys_20:

Nice pictures, Im jealous. Hey Wayne, I found this video about a year ago.. Is this you?!? lol MONSTER pike from Nicholas Sheran West side of Lethbridge. Last year I saw 2 different pike at NS, both were 25+.... Scared the **** out of me when I saw them. They didnt hit anything I casted out... I still cant believe there are pike that big in there.

I think we'll have to do it that way. Wife is working from 12-8 that day and I've gotta drop her off and pick her up, so I'll have to work around that. If I book it out there though I should still be able to fish with ya for at least 5ish hours :fishing:
