Weird to see this in a mainstream paper. Data showing that if Canada had enacted the same concealed carry laws as the United States 48 lives may have been saved the very year it was enacted. (1988 I believe) 48 lives per year for 20 years = more lives saved than the gun registry saved (which I think is about zero point zero).
Just an interesting read and some food for thought.
