Ordering from cabelas..?

I was just wondering how long it takes for them to ship items via fed ex ground.. As i ordered some items on sept 25.. and got a email that my order has shipped on the 26 of september... I still have not recieved anything and i live in edmonton.. Does it normaly take this long..?

It can take this long...I have had it take a couple of weeks to receive items from them.

they are usually really good.
got stuff in under 2 weeks in the past.
it can take over a month tho...
i'd give them another week or two before worrying...

Once my most recent order shipped it took 9 business days and arrived by Canada Post.

I have noticed that the larger orders take a lot longer. On my orders where it is 1 or 2 items, delivery (rural area) usually takes less than 2 weeks. Have had it as quick as 1 week. But on any of the bigger orders have never had any thing come in before 3 weeks. But again I live in the sticks. Currently have a bigger order placed and have some customized stuff ordered that will make it take even longer so I am expecting it to take ~ 1 month.

just got my light on Friday Oct 5 and it was shipped Sept 24th I think.

It wouldn't suprise me if it made it to Canada Post quickly, and then was delayed from there. I had a Cabelas order make it all the way to our local post office - I got the Canada Post card telling me to go down and pick it up at the post office- and the next day when I went to claim it ...it had dissappeared.

Cabelas did a trace on it as far as when it went with US Postal Service to Canada Post - and that was only a couple of days. They couldn't track it once it was delivered to Canada Post hands, and then it took forever to reach our town - where it promptly dissappeared (about a $500 order).

Cabelas made good and replaced 100% of the order - no questions asked - even though it was obviously not their fault. Great service.

My most recent order took 11 days to get here. I was able to pick it up last Friday, as it couldn't be delivered to my rural mailbox and used it Saturday!

Placed order for the eastman ground blind on sept 26th. They said 5 to 7 days with express shipping. Received oct 6th. Very Quick:)

I place about 5 orders a year from cabelas, and i always select ground shipping, and the longest i have waited has been 3 weeks, but i have had stuff come as fast as 5 business days.
Most of the stuff that has come fast has come out of windsor ontario.

Ordered my tent on Friday OCT 5th and did not received notification by e-mail so I called on Tuesday OCT 9th and they apologize that it was not shipped yet. To my surprise tent was at my door the next day....
The only BEEF I have that for grand total about 730 $ I PAID EXTRA 300$ In
taxes duties and shipping. Came by UPS and I don't think that there was other option due to oversize item.... UPS SUCKS...
Than they delivered next day...
