Are the geese still north?

Went up to shoot some geese in my favorite spot yesterday. To my surprise I only saw three flocks, one with ten, one with 16 and one with only 6.
This spot is in the south Ab , I am use to seeing multiple flocks at this time.
Could it just be that the fields are still full of crops. Have never had this problem before.

I work at christina lake gas plant and the geese are flying south everyday but the last couple weeks haven,t seen many.

Still good numbers in 501. Mainly small birds. Out this morning, foggy++. Got 2 ducks which landed on goose spread, no geese, but saw a few groups flying high. I am thinking late afternoon will be good, may go out again.
Dog is ****ed with me 'cause I didn't take him this morning and he smelled ducks when I got home. promised him I would take him next time:sHa_shakeshout:
