Speed Goat down!!

Covered a lot of country yesterday and looked at over 80 different antelope, about 25 different bucks and this was my #1 pick. We put him to bed last night and were fortunate enough to find him early thismornin. After getting permission to go on the land we came back and found that he either completely left the area he was in or just hunkered down tight in the tall grass. My dad and I walked all over the field he was in only a half hour earlier and looked over every little roll in the land. After about 4 hours of playing hide and seek he showed up only a few hundreds yards from where we had last seen him... now with 3 does. we put a quik stalk on him and I was able to land a 220 yard shot at noon today! I think he is a hell of a trophy for my first loper!! Already at the Taxidermist!

There was a thread a few days ago about guessing the measurements on a good looking antelope.The scores and guesses varied a bit but overall he was a 16" goat probably. I know this goats length and I bet some folks don't give him that kinda thought. His weight is decieving.Great buck for a great kid!
