I talked to a guy in Lethbridge on Sunday and he and his friends shot one that is 411 NT. I seen pictures of it and it is a tank.

That is my bull in the second link! Where did the suffield elk come from? I always thought it was ya-ha they transplanted the elk from, but the other guy on trophy watch says elk island nation park?

The other guy (Joel) is a biologist in Medicine Hat and has some very good knowledge of the history of the base. What I've always heard is Elk Island Nat. Park as well.

When I was talking to the guy at the Jenner store he told me that he had seen the elk that ministers tag winner had killed and the number he gave was alot less then 420" anythings possible though!

Then again, from the looks of both of your bulls, they both came from a special magical place that grows giant antlers! Thats all that a guy needs to know!! LOL

What did you gross score your bull at? Who is mounting it for ya?

I'd always thought some also came from the YaHa. Guess I was wrong too.

We came up with 393 3/8" Suger creek is going to make him come back to life for me! Never had any work done there before but after talking to others and seeing his web site, I decide to try it out! I highly doubt I'll be dissapointed!

Just to put the rumours to rest, I had my elk measured by an offical B and C scorer for an accurate green score. Gross was 411 4/8. Net typical was 380 3/8. :) We'll see how much it shrinks when it is scored after 60 days, but it shouldn't lose more than an inch or two. I think there are plenty of pics floating around cyberspace already. Heck maybe I'll even write an article some day so I'd better save some pics for that. It will be at the MHFGA sportsmans day last Saturday of January if anyone wants to see it.
