My Texas Longhorn Antelope

I got drawn for Antelope after a 6 year wait. We went down on Sat and scouted for two days hoping to find a big one. This was the best one we could find and with him being so unique it was an easy decision where we would be early Mon morning. With so many tags being given out I was paronoid that some one else would be after him too, so we got up at 5.30 and were in place approx 45 min before legal time to be the first one there. as it was no one else showed up so it took some pressure off. Had him on the ground by 7. Not my biggest antelope but very unusual so I am very happy with him. Longest horn is 16 inches should score approx 75 . this is my first attempt at posting pictures so hopefully they come through. Thanks for looking

Great antelope! Man when you see a ground measured 16" buck it sure shows how short some of the guesstimated live pictures are. Good job I love the flare.

Thanks everybody. When I took him to Jenner to the check station the F&W officer took a couple of teeth and said he was at least 4 and a half years old. He was with only one doe which I thought was strange.
