Finally The Night Has come..

Well boys finally the last night has come.. Will be heading to moose camp tomorrow. If everything go's good tonight I should have casing cemented by about 4:00 a:m. Do up my books and pack the rest of my stuff and I am off. Should get home about 7 or 8 a:m. Get a few more groceries, pack my gear, and off to L.L.B. to pick up Jesse and his gear then we will probably truck it to Slave Lake for the first night then make tracks north to camp from there.. If everything goes as planned should be in moose camp by around noon on Saturday..

Man I am looking forward to this year.. Its been 2 years since we went moose hunting thats the biggest break I have had in over 20 years lolo,, haven't slept in a few days..

Anyways I am sure I will miss a few trophies taken while we are gone so good luck to all you and I will try and catch up on some of the hogs I missed when I get back..

Good Luck and stay safe...hope those damn cementers don't screw up your plans!!!...LOL...you're going at the perfect time, had a cow moose wander past my place 2 nights ago...with 2-2 year olds following her and probably a 45" 3rd in line...Good Luck , have fun and looking forward to the pics!!

I am off to moose camp in the am as well. trailer is hooked up most my stuff is packed and i am excited to hit the road. Going to be a long drive up. Stop in trochu for a quick work call. stop in edmonton to pick up buddies gear (he is flying lucky bugger!) and then onto GP. Hope fully by this time tomorrow I am at buddies house sipping a cold pop. Then off to set up camp and try to get my first moose!

Right on walleyes. I can relate to that, just finished drilling my last shot hole in Chetwynd B.C, for some seismic guys and am going home tomorrow to pack my gear and go on my first moose hunt since 2003. Thats way too long to not have moose meat in the freezer.
