A bit more help please

Another week to go before heading out to go moose hunting. So I have another question about the Chinchaga Forestry road. Does anyone know if the gas plant close to the Apache/Hamburg airstrip provide certain amenities? Heard that you can buy gas, buy meals and possibly pay to use shower facilities. If anyone can verify this, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

been 15 years since I was up there but back then it was an open camp. they sold fuel, meals and I am sure you could get shower use. Called it the Hamburg Hilton.

I not sure what is available right now but it was set up as an open camp. Call the guys at Central Peace Construction at Grimshaw they will know whats up.

Just got back from that area and there is a U.F.A. cardlock at the hamburg hilton. You need one of their cards but very easy to get at any U.F.A. station. weather very warm and dry. The road is VERY dusty so drive carefull. Seems to be a lot of traffic now. Piker
