Help finding NSR walleye

Hit up some walleye at hermatge last week.....nothing there today, couple of suckers. Anyone offer some hints on where to find them with some consitancy on the NSR......shore fishing as i have no boat.......thanks

It's rare that you'll find anything with consistency in the NSR. It's such a huge chunk of moving water, and the fish are often moving as well. The fish will move from one area to another based on all kinds of things...time of year, weather, light, etc.

That being said, some spots are more likely to hold fish than others, but there is still no guarantee.

Your best bet to find fish of any species in the river, is to keep mobile and trying different spots, and try different methods as well. I've never caught anything flipping jigs into the river, but in the past week or two, that's almost all I've been catching the walleye on.
