Ive been experimenting with some new lures for perch and whitefish, since I think I am going to target them a lot more this winter. Here are a few Ive come up with so far, need more hooks, Ive only done 50 or so thus far :) They all glow in the dark also.

For perch I prefer 1.5" rubber tailed jigs. Did get some shinner like jigs with a rainbow florecent in the middle at canadian tire last winter and they worked pretty good at some lakes but not all. The rubber tailed worked best. Caught some nice 12" at lake isle and N. Buck.

Hey wayne I think those will work really good with the super small sucker minnows I caught this year with my fly fishing net while out on a river this summer. I salted them and put them in the freezer for perch this winter. I think if we hook one of your new hooks through the eyes of the sucker minnows we will catch a ton of jumbo perch this winter.
