My buds probably going to be buying a boat soon. 14 foor alum. Is there a good all around motor for lake and rivers. Anything to avoid. Jet or propeler??

If he's going with an outboard,I know several Boat mechanics and they all say the Yamaha outboard is the one that they think is the most trouble free. They hardly ever see one in for repairs.

Go with a Jet, then you can run the skinny water too. Its the only way to go !!!!!!
