Hey Bubs, we fished CV last weekend. Tired jigging for half an hour or so with nothing we we switched up to bottom bouncers and spinners. Caught lots of walleye and a few pike. Seemed a yellow spinner with minnow was the right combonation last weekend. Tried red and silver with a leech and they werent very interested. We fished on the east side of the lake on a NE angle across from the boat launch in and around the west side of the islands. 17-20 feet seemed to be the magic depth.

Also caught a few on on the north/central end of the lake as well.

Good luck.

I caught this pike http://i1188.photobucket.com/albums/z419/Photography_Hunting_Trapshooting/IMG_2541.jpg at crawling valley about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks ago! I was using a storm perch imitation! It was the first pike I caught, I caught it one my 3rd cast ten feet from shore!

Nice fish bud. those are good lures, I use a lot of them.

2 weekends ago the Walleye were going nuts for slow-death (off a bottom bouncer I think) with a worm. Pike were going nuts for any Rap in the box.
