Apparantly srd has released a note that there is a disease in cow lake affecting less than 10 % of the pike in Cow Lake. They appear with big pink leisions on them( quite ugly). They recomend not eating them and using spreaders and pliers to un hook them, and not bring them into the boat. Do not use a net for them as contact with the net and other fish will spread this disease.
Should be interesting to see how long the pike last in the lake, and I wonder if this will wipe out whats left of the perch and rainbows??
