Has anyone fished at lamont fish pond?

Water is very murky, visablity is about 6" because of all the farming. Not even a nibble the last 3 times I was out there.

Fished it 2 years ago in late may / june . Did great with a bobber and worm.

I drilled a hole last winter and the water that came up was all green like pea soup. I packed up and havent been back. I do see people fishing there regularly though.

Its DEAD. Use to fish well about 20 years ago....

Once again Safety D is being too liberal with his DEADS. The are some very large trout in this pond, despite the down turn in water quality of late. And this was much more recent than 20 years ago...

Went there once there this summer and had great luck...got several of these little guys within a short period of time :)

That pond is good shortly after stocking takes place. When i lived in Fort Saskatchewan, i used to go there a bit and some big ones would be had on a regular basis. Id like to try Icefishing that pond some year.
