Pine Coulee

So, ive never fished pine coulee before, but have heard good things. Is it possible to fish from shore and get good results there?? Just looking to waste a day away with friends catching and releasing. Ive googled the lake, looks pretty big, just wondering what area would be the best to try? Im guessing pickerel rig and worms would work the best for lazy fishing there??

Most shore fisherman fish around the bridge and the boat launch. You can use pickerel rigs with worms or minnows or just chuck a jig head tipped with a minnow or a worm.
