Sat down to supper last night with Sandi and her parents. I looked out the dining room window and saw that mom had brought the twins for a visit. Good to see how much they have grown!

Yup, nice to see. Not near as cute as they would have been about 3 months ago though.:)

Thx for the pics 209. I watched a calf about that size the other day (not hunting) in my bow zone property for about half an hour. It was alone, and seemed like it had been flying solo for a while as it was in the open and showed very little interest in looking for mom. Do you think it had left mom, or the cow was killed by one means or another? Anyway, cool pics, all I have in my backyard are @#%$^ magpies!:lol:

That would be my bet. Calf moose usually stay with mom until the next fall.

Thanks 209, that's what I figured. Hopefully I'll have some pics of him next week. With a freezer full of elk, chasing a moose makes absolutly perfect sense to me......:rolleye2:
