I drove out there yesterday, the launch is completly exposed with a 12 inch drop off the last block but it looks like people are driving on the sand and launching there were no people there yesterday the water is very low.
Hope this helps

Travers is very low right now. My understanding is that the levels were dropped to allow for dam repairs.

As you can see here (http://www.environment.alberta.ca/apps/basins/woreport.aspx?wor=1541), Travers is currently at only 43% of capacity, whereas McGregor is at 88% and Little Bow at 99%.

We were last there about 6 weeks ago, and it was definitely an issue launching and retrieving the boat.

Any idea what it would normally be at % wise? I know every fall they drop it a fair amount, but I've never seen that 43% number before.

A few weeks ago I found a page at Alberta Environment that had historical fill data for Travers, but I can't seem to find it now
