Tyrell - Used to fish it every so often.. Its hit and miss.. In my experience almost always miss. There are MONSTER trout in there, but there is soo much freshwater shrimp and tons of food for them, its extremely hard to catch anything. When I was there last year it was weed central. Maybe it's changed since then but I doubt it. I do know that there are retardedly big trout in there though.

The trout in there have a very short life span due to their growth rate. They have to much food in there. All they do is swim around with their mouths open and eat the shrimp or whatever other bugs are around.

Like mentioned before it is super tough to catch anything there but if you do hook into one, hold on and enjoy the ride. I may make a trip or 2 out that way during the hard water season and try to pull a fatty or 2 through the ice.

I think it's always been a tough lake to fish.

Caught a couple 4 lbers and a few small ones last year around xmas. Never skunked ice fishing, but it can be slow. Morning is best.
