I believe it, Saskatchewan is home to the best fishing, and some of the biggest fish.

That's wayne's lifetime dream right there.

Nice looking gator. I landed a 21lber a few years ago at newel through the ice. a 34 or 38lber would be a battle and a half.

Wayne it looks like you are going to have to head out east to get yourself into a 30+ lber this winter.

You know people just shake their heads at you. LOL everytime a monster fish is caught people jump out with the old Photoshop thing. The lighting looks just fine to me. The fish looks a little frosty but thats it.
My guess is they never had a camera with them and the fish ended up on the ice till a camera showed up.

Congrats to the lucky fisherman!!

The hilarious thing is the people scream PHOTOSHOPZ!!!! without ever really having used it themselves. And I don't mean you used it once to crop and Auto-Levels a photo. It's NOT that easy to doctor photos.

They seem to think there's a special filter called "MAKEZ MY FISHEZ BIGGER PLZ!!!!" built into Photoshop. Well, newsflash*****, there isn't.

It takes a fair amount of specialised experience and skill to fake something like that, which (and I don't mean to sound derogatory) the vast majority of this board does not possess.

Photoshop? Lol...

100% real, Saskatchewan is home to monsters, and the best fishing in Canada.

I really despise moving from there when i was little, SSR fishing was always steady...

Canoe Lake is by far one of the best fisheries we go to, anytime of the year, we find the walleye, we have a perma pike hole, biggest we've caught there is a 29 lber, my dad pulled him out at our 29ft walleye hole, pulled him to the boat and old man yelled "Grab the net asap" haha, if i can find the picture ill upload it.

Nice pike man! I am interested in the variety of homemade tipups I see in the background of a couple of those pics. Any chance of posting a few close up pics of those units? Thanks.

Take a chill pill boys... a couple people made an honest mistake. With the amount of photoshopped crap on the internet, sometimes it okay to be skeptical! Sometimes their wrong but not always...

My 2 cents, no need to get riled up about it..

Well I'm honestly sorry:o, I am glad that people can catch those monsters! The first picture looked really contrasted that's why. Congrats on that trophy!

That fish was caught at Leslie Beach on Fishing Lake, just north of Foam Lake, SK, it was caught on a perch rod with a yellow jig and a piece of smelt tail,He was using 8lb test and fought it for 10- 15 mins. They took it to the local Co-op but the scale would only go to 35 and cut out ,so 22 hours later He took it to the Shop Easy and it weighed 39.3lbs, He can't help but think the live weight was 41 -42 lbs but it dried all out in the back of his truck before He got it weighed. CONGRATS BUDDY ON A MONSTER FISH OF A LIFETIME!!!

photoshop lol...some people make me laugh. The fish is legit.

Definitely not photoshopped. I think you are confused though. As mentioned that 38 lb fish came from Fishing Lake and if I'm not mistaken, your brother's came from Tobin.

So who caught this beast? Horsetrader obviously didn't, and since it came from another site I kinda believe in giving credit where credit is due :)

Warren...maybe you can help us out?
