We're just about into ice fishing here in North America but before switching gears completely check out this awesome fishing page by a Japanese fellow. This guy has caught some pretty gnarly fish in some diverse locals.

This page on Mongolian fishing was of particular interest to me because beside the massive Taimen (I think - correct me if I'm wrong) there is a large perch, grayling and big pike.

To me they look just a bit different than the same species here but that is probably because they exist half a world away.
