It holds everything i need including auger, shovel and tent! Has seating for 4, rod holders, internal storage, and cool red fishes stenciled on....

TIGHT LINES!

I make (or rebuild) an ice sleigh every year. Every time you go out, you think about improvements you can make for your next version and different ways to either lighten the load or make places to tie-down more.
I've just rebuilt my ski-mounted "gear tray" for the up-coming season and I'm sure Fishbrain remembers the box I had on a 1.8m tobaggon a couple of years ago that liked to fall over on the trek. My pal's box looks a lot like yours but he has brass features on cedar c/w a cutting board/bait tray top. Bling
First one I ever saw (c1962) resembled a catering truck box complete with cupboards and drawers and weighed about a tonne. My latest version weighs in at <10kgs empty, which is about the same tonnage as my vintage snowshoes.
My favorite style of fishing anymore. Quiet. Lonely. Back to the basics fishing with rudimentary gear and high tech lures. And quiet.

Very cool. The one picture looks like the reel is strapped to a pipe bomb. I bet that one blows all the other rods away. :)
