Anyone been out to Grassey yet. Thinking about going Sat or Sunday and just wondering if anyone has been there and could save me a little gas. With the cold snap I would think it would be OK. The wind may have blown in the road by the boat launch so access there may be a problem.

That is pretty crazy to think you can drive on the lake already. I am still pretty iffy about walking on alot of lakes around here.

Good to hear he is ok. I think he will change his mind from here on out about driving a vehicle on this early into the season.

The fellows who were 4x4ing on the pond in Fairmount found out that jeeps don't float also.

I've been worrying about walking on the ice and drilling an 8" hole in front of me on a small pond never mind driving my truck out there. I had my boat in the water on Nov 4th and wouldn't drive on anything until xmas.

Glad to here everyone is ok.

You would have to be soft in the head to take a vehicle on the ice already.

Made it out to Grassey and just finished my first perch feed of the ice fishing season. No more than 4 inches of ice(little scary) but did manage to catch some. The road to the boat launch is drifted in and I don't think anyone will be getting in there soon.

Good to hear. Won't make it today but will be there Sunday. Drop a line and let us know how the ice is and if the bite is on.
