I've fished it about 5 times this summer. Always had good luck fishing from shore with powerbait on a pickeral rig. I'm planning on trying it soon, maybe tomorrow morning. I tried it one day on the fly from a float tube but it was not a nice day and late in the season so no luck that day.

The normal size that i was pulling out were always around a pound.

It was always very brown muddy water but now that the wind can't blow on it I'm curious to see if its cleared up. I've waded in with chest waders and it got chest deep about 10 feet off shore. I'm interested to see how deep it gets.

I fished it a couple times later in the year and it was very hit and miss...more miss than hit I think :o

No idea what it'd be like now though

tried last year early december, didnt have a bite. there was so much algae that you couldnt see the hook after a foot of water! didnt try again since but im sure it cleared up. not a bad idea to try again soon i think. good luck if you go
