Hi All,

I've enjoyed looking at lots of great fish pictures on here for quite a while now. Most are beautiful pics of nice big fish. Well, just for fun, how about we post some of our smallest fish? I wish I had a better one than what's below (as the little fish is actually the bait we were using), but I'll post it as something to get everyone started. Have any funny pics???

Here is a brook trout I caught on the fly in Jumpingpound Creek in late July. It was a monster.

This is a pic of the only Kokanee caught this past May long in BC. I fished for 4 days trying to catch this bugger! The same fish is in my Avatar pic.

As you can see, my pup Bronco is not impressed with the size of this beast!!

I do have pics of the worlds smallest pike, walleye and perch caught...just not handy. Will try to dig them up tonight.

This year on the NSR i caught a walleye on a 3" rattlin rap......the walleye was 2.5" and it wasn't snagged either....the thing tried to eat the rapala......i will try and find the pics tonight

We wondered why there were no hits on the down rigger rod all morning (Kootenay Lake) - this little bugger must have been on for a few hours.

He eventually swam away like nothing happened - tough fish those Bulls !

not my smallest fish...dont have any photos...but my smallest pike ever! He was 13 inches, caught on a tiny perch jig
...dont worry, I popped him back down the hole after I snapped the pic.

Last winter I was fishing for perch and managed to catch a 3 inch shiner...

that pike has my smallest more than doubled :) it went back down the hole pretty quick, I am sure it was having sex with the smelt on my line!!!!

I usually don't go after small fish, but here are some ones I caught... Ahh the memories lol! And yes, the small rainbow was caught with a hook (size 22 that is!)..

I like that we can celebrate the little ones too. Why do the big fish have to get all the screen time? It's all about getting out and enjoying the day - friends, family, stories, and fun.

Big fish, little fish, or no fish at all... a fish is a fish no matter how small. Thank you Dr. Seuss. :)

This summer i caught what i assumed to be a perch, but when i got it in it was a 6" pike, but fat, like a perch. no pics though.

I think that one wins for the smallest pike Ive ever seen hooked. see smaller in the lake every spring, but not hooked.

So, based on the above pic and the other one I posted in this thread I won an award. Hershy's is launching Reese Minis in Canada and somehow they came across this thread and awarded me one of the five spots for their "Perfectly Tiny" awards. Not sure after the one I caught today lol. Poor bugger went after a lure almost his size. Weirdest thing is he wasn't the only one, caught 2 today this same size on the same lure :scared0015:.
