I've only ever fished CV for burbs and pike but this year after fishing McGregor for whiles, I'm wondering if the whites in CV behave similar? ie, Mac whites are in the shallows and spawning in schools, are there whites along the rock wall in CV doing the same.

I would assume it's the same since both water bodies seem similar. Looking to hit Mac on Sunday but wouldn't mind a change of scenery (and maybe less crowds!). I guess in theory I could hit up both places in the same day....

I have never seen or heard of a white in CV all the times we have fished it winter or summer. Even on the fish cam none have appeared. There are perch in there to go with all the pike wallys and burbs. If you want a mix of fish in the south also try Badger. Pike, whites , perch and if you are lucky the odd wally that is not supposed to be in there. Make sure you tie up your rod as there are some monsters in there.
