Going to fish Gull Lake and Sylvan lake for burbot and pike any tips and tricks or where to fish?

i am very mobile and looking where to go fish for burbot and big pike aswell what to use with the technque

Caught a nice close to 6lb burbot in gull last winter....the group was fishing almost mid lake straight out from a provincial boat launch <don't know which one lol> Minnows/smelts on a jig work for Burbot and pike there.

Sylvan lake is not open for fishing till Dec 11th
