perch bait..?

What do you guys use besides the usual minnows, maggots, mela worms...

I have used marshmellows and power bait salmon eggs with limited success...

ONe guy told me marshmellows??

I've used marshmallows with success. Another one that always seems to work good is sliced cheese!! Ran out of bait at the boat launch at Kenosee Lake one time when I was a kid. Grabbed my sandwich and removed a cheese slice, worked excellent!! I still use them as an option to this day...

Shrimps , and minnows

Extra Foods has their shrimp rings on at 2/$5.98. Best bait going. If the fish aren't biting, at least you can eat!!! I have used them quite successfully on LLB, Beaver, & the park lakes, both on perch and walleye.

Shrimp, meal worms, maggots (red & white) and of course the best bait out there eye's!!
