Buffalo ice?

i have my shack set up at scenic sands and last weekend there was 16" of ice.

Question about Buffalo... I hear different things about this lake all the time... some say that the saline level is too high and this has diminished the fish population... but then others say the pike fishing there is legendary. I've only ever had limited success there but I've only been there a few times and only in the summer. Just wondering what others think about buffalo?

Yeah there right. But if you no the honey holes you will like it. I have never had luck in the summer there. And I grew up in a small town right beside it.

Fishing was good, i have only been able to make it out for a couple hours so far but i pulled out 5 pike, but nothing was legal size.

buffalo seems to fish better in the winter than summer. 20+ lbs are caught every year through the ice,
