If you live in Calgary or surrounding areas a couple good places are PCR or Clear Lake down by stavely.....just toss a glow jig head and smelt or minnow down the hole...You'll catch a lot of walleye as well but the burbot down there seem to like pigging out in winter..lol

Previous threads my friend. Do a search. I reckon Newell or PCR is ur best bet.
Check regs on PCR though, I think it closes at night...?

Iosegun Lake in Fox Creek. We cath some pretty big ones all winter long while walleye fishing! We use spoons or green jigs! And they are very tasty. Cut and fried right they taste just like scallops!
GOOD LUCK!!

Hi Droptine! Any pointers as to where on Iosegun to start for burbot and walleye. I've followed the anglers atlas hot spots in the summer and have been pretty successful. Are they good in the winter too?
