Just want to know what people think about ice safety when do u drive on the ice? Things can alway happen so there is never a sure way to know but this is what i have heard
4" walk only
8" small cars
12" trucks
Now this maybe good for some but for me i like a little bit more than that. I really dont think ice is same level all over the lake so 12" one place some may still be a 6". I also belive speed is a very big factor no waves under the ice. hope some people have some comments
