Hey Guys,
I am heading down to Red Deer for Christmas with the in laws and I wanted to target some whitefish while I was down there.
I got lots of different colored wire worms and I understand the concept that you jig once in awhile and that for best results you want your wire worm to hang horizontal.
I have searched all the threads for as much whitefish information that I could get, but I was hoping people could let me know some good spots on either of these lakes. I will be walking on, but I am not afraid to go for a hike if it's a good spot.
What depth should I be fishing at? I heard anywhere from 6-15 FOW and given that their mouth faces down that they feed off or near the bottom.
Thanks to anyone that is willing to spend some time on giving me tips!
